Welcome to the website of Notley Youth Football Club, based in ,Braintree Essex. www.notleyyouthfc.org.uk We hope you find the site both informative and useful.
The club was formed in 2001 by Chairman Martin Hudson and former Club Secretary Steve Ringer and at that time, had four teams, two at Under 8 and one each at Under 10 and Under 11. All had success in that first season, the Under 8's finishing runners up in their division, the Under 10's winning the League Cup and the Under 11's sweeping the board by winning the League and League Cup.In 2005 Dawn Galley joined the committee and was tasked with securing the club Charter status. The club has grown considerably since then and in August 2007 the club was awarded FA charter status.
With the continued growth of the club the facilities @ Black Notley could not meet the clubs requirments. It was decided to look at leasing some land long term to be as self sufficient as possible.Summer 2009 saw the club enter into agreement with The Phoenix Hockey Club to lease the grass area at their club and sign up to exclusive use of the Astro pitch.Whilst the club will continue to use Black Notley playing field ,the facilities at Bocking will become our primary location. Summer 2010 saw the introduction of Notley FC. This team compises of players from the age of 18 and above, hence the" Youth " was dropped from the name. Although they are affiliated seperate to the FA ,they still come under the umbrella of Notley Youth FC.
For the forthcoming season (20012/13)we will manage sides in the Blackwater & Dengie and Colchester & District Youth Leagues with age groups from Under 6 up to Under 18. Each age group will be managed by a qualified FA Coach, details of whom can be seen on their respective pages. Our Mens team "Notley" will play in the Braintree and North Essex Sunday League. Season 2012/12 will also see the addition of a mens reserve team made up mainly from last years U18 team managed by Tom Chambers.

Well done to all the teams in their respective age groups throughout the 2001011 season and best wishes for the 2011/12 season. Thank you to all the Club officers and volunteers for giving their time so freely to ensure the smooth running of the Club and finally, last but by no means least, a big thank you to all the team sponsors, without whom the Club would find it much harder to operate.
