Lawford Junior Football Club would like to invite you to this year’s 5-a-side Fun Day to be held on Sunday 8th
July 2011, at our home ground, School Lane, Lawford.
The competition will be affiliated to the Essex County F.A.
It is intended to run age groups from Under 7 through to Under 15. Each age group will be limited to twelve
teams and the age groups will be as per the 2011/2012 season.
Team winners and runners-up trophies will be presented to the Under 9 age group through to Under 15.
Medals will be presented to all participating players in the Under 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 age groups (who have not won
a winners or runners-up trophy). The Under 7 and Under 8 age groups will run on a non competitive basis.
The cost of entry is £25 per team (Max. 8 players) - the Tournament rules, format and start times will be
posted to you as confirmation of your entry.
Burgers, cold drinks, and other refreshments will be available throughout the day and there will be a number
of other stalls, displays and amusements. We very much hope you will want to join us and look forward to

We have great pleasure in inviting you to join us on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd July 2012 for our football tournament to be held at Witham Rugby Club.
For those of you who have been with us on previous years you will know that we try to combine the competition with side shows and stalls so that the whole family can enjoy the day.
The tournament is open to age groups Under 6’s, 7’s, 8’s, 9’s, 10’s, 11’s, 12’s Boys Under 13’s, 14’s, 15’s, and 16’s
If you are able to join us please fill in the enclosed entry form with a fee of £20.00 per team. It is very helpful if your entry can be returned by 30th June
Packs containing confirmation of entry, maps, registration forms and match schedules will be forwarded to you a week to ten days before the date of the tournament.
Age groups Under 9’s and over will compete in a five a side competition, Age groups Under 6’s Under 7’s and Under 8’s will play non competitive football which will involve several games and all participants will receive a medal.

This event will be held at The Basildon Lower Academy (formerly known as Barstable School), in Basildon on May 19th and 20th (see age groups below). Season 2011 - 2012 age groups will apply. We would like to invite any of your teams to our junior soccer football festival - a 7-A-Side Tournament
for junior teams (ages 7-10) on Sunday 10th June 2012.
As usual this will be an all-day event allowing an extended programme where every team willl get plenty of football with a
proper break for lunch.
Under 7s and 8s will be in non-competitive round-robin competitions Every player will receive a commemorative
medallion. Squads will consist of no more than 10 players.
Under 9s, and 10s will be limited to a maximum of 16 teams per age group on a strictly first come, first served basis.
Two leagues of eight teams making a minimum of seven matches each spread over the day, again with a proper break
for lunch. The top four teams of each league will play in a knockout competition until the final. Squads will consist of no
more than 12 players.
On the day:
Location: Promenade Park, Park Drive, Maldon Essex CM9 5JG
Register from 0900, first kickoff 1000. It is anticipated the tournament will be completed by 17.30.
There will be a refreshment tent, a barbeque, a photographer and plenty of side shows. We can look forward to a fun filled
day with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of football for everyone!

The entry fee remains £25 per team. Cheques should be made payable to “Maldon Saints Football Club.” Entry forms
must be returned together with the application form before 10th May 2012.
Please note that places wil be allotted on a strictly first come, first served basis. Entry confirmation together with map and
