Notley Youth home games will now in the first instance take place @ The Phoenix Hockey Club .We will continue to use the Black Notley Pitch to ease wear and tear on pitches.
DIRECTIONS:-
From Colchester/A12: take A120 from Mark Tey to Braintree/Stansted. At Braintree turn right on A131 to Sudbury/Haverhill as above.
From Chelmsford: either
A. take A12 to Witham and follow signs to Braintree on B1018. At Braintree follow By-pass on A120 Colchester to A131 then A131 Sudbury/Haverhill as above. or
B. take A130 Dunmow, at Little Waltham A131 Braintree. At Braintree by-pass follow A120 Colchester to A131 then A131 Sudbury/Haverhill as above.

From Colchester/Halstead
Approaching Braintree you will come to the large Marks Farm roundabout (with Tesco opposite). Take the Braintree bypass (A120) following the Chelmsford A131 Signs. At the next roundabout (with McDonalds on the opposite corner) take the third exit, still following the signs to Chelmsford. Leave the bypass at the next exit, signposted for Braintree Town Centre and Braintree Leisure Centre. Turn right at the roundabout, which will take you under the bypass to another roundabout. Go straight over that roundabout and up the hill, past the cemetery. Drive past Acorn Avenue on the left and take the next right which is Godlings Way. Follow the road until you come to the T-junction, and turn right into Notley Road. As you drive up the hill you will pass on the right, a garage (now closed), an infant’s school, junior school and high school. Keep going along Notley Road until you pass over the bypass into what becomes Witham Road passing the War Memorial on the right hand side at the junction with Church Road. Approximately 50 yards past the memorial on the left had side you will find the entrance into Black Notley Playing Fields. If parking is limited, continue along Witham Road for another 50 yards until you see the Village Hall on the right hand side, where additional parking is available.
From Chelmsford
After passing the Essex Showground on the A131, you will come to a roundabout on the edge of the Notley Garden Village, go straight across that and the immediate mini-roundabout.
Start signaling right for the next mini roundabout turning which you will be approaching almost immediately, signposted for Black Notley - this is Bakers Lane. Continue down this road until you come to a fork in the road. Take the right fork, which brings you into Church Road. Turn right at the junction (with the War Memorial on your left) which brings you into Witham Road. Approximately 50 yards past the memorial on the left had side you will find the entrance into Black Notley Playing Fields. If parking is limited, continue along Witham Road for another 50 yards until you see the Village Hall on the right hand side, where additional parking is available.
From M11/A120
When approaching Braintree you will reach an exit sign posted "Braintree Town Centre & Chelmsford". You will come to a roundabout. Take the third exit, signposted for "Chelmsford".
You will come to another roundabout. Take the first exit sign posted "Braintree Town Centre".
Turn left again at the next roundabout which will take you under the bypass.

Note: There is limited parking space at the ground, which is to be reserved for our visitors and the home team managers. Parents and supporters of the home team are requested to park in the car park of the Village Hall (when available). Please avoid parking on the main road where possible as it causes an obstruction to other road users. Please also avoid parking in The Vine Public House as this is reserved for patrons only. Thank you.
